Poppy Project: Kitchen

It’s time to talk about the Poppy Project kitchen! We chose a skinny shaker cabinet and painted the surround cabinets with Benjamin Moore’s simply white. We added a pop of color to the island with Benjamin Moore’s Knoxville grey. We used a white oak to add some open shelving and used all white dishes to style them. This is a great way to keep things functional yet still pretty!

We chose mainly drawers for the lower cabinets but did add swivel pull out shelving in the corner cabinet to help utilize space! There is also a space to the left of the stove with dividers to help separate cookie sheets and cutting boards. Adding barstools with some texture added that little bit of texture needed in this space.

The small appliance garage was perfect to hide away appliances and keep things out of sight. The pantry just off of the kitchen was used to store even more small appliances in the cupboard and on the counter. We kept lighting and plumbing fixtures cohesive with a black finish. So tell me… what’s your favorite part?!
