Poppy Project: Nursery

Y’ALL! Why do flowers make me so so happy?! We were thrilled to find out we were having a little girl and I instantly went searching for a beautiful wallpaper to put into her room. Of course I had to put Rifle Paper Co. wallpaper (have I told you about my love for this company?! Because I love everything she produces!) which added the perfect amount of color and femininity the room needed! We chose the Wildwood print in navy.

I repurposed most furniture from when her brother had a nursery but did buy this little gold with a faux marble top.

I also created an area to display a few children’s books. I love to have functional spaces so I always try to not just buy “stuff” to fill up a room. Finding beautifully illustrated children’s books (that I also love) to display on a shelf was the perfect form meets function addition to this space.

And now I’m sure before we know it our baby will be moving up to a big girl bed. Time sure does fly!
