Wildflower Project: Entryway

Growing up in the south instilled a strong sense of southern hospitality deep in my bones. The welcoming from neighbors and friends began at the front porch and if you were just stopping by for a chat or to drop off something, carried into the entryway. The entryway is the first space people see upon arriving at your home and I firmly believe it’s so important to have a welcoming and tidy space. There wasn’t a ton of space in the Wildflower Projects entryway but we made a few tweaks, cleared out some clutter and personalized it with family pictures. A previously owned bench created the perfect spot for friends and family to sit and kick off (or put on) their shoes. Adding pillows and a plant helped the space out by adding color and coziness.

Tip: If you choose to do a gallery wall with family pictures I highly suggest either printing all of the pictures in black and white or only using pictures that are from the same shoot and have the same editing. This is much more pleasing to the eye!
